NAPLAN basics for 2013 - Year 3 Writing

The 2013 Year 3 NAPLAN Writing Test will require the students to write a persuasive response to stimulus material. For example: "Reading books is better than watching TV" or "It is cruel to keep animals in cages".

2012 NAPLAN report now available

The 2012 NAPLAN National Report is now available.
This report provides detailed national and state/territory results for each year level (3, 5, 7 and 9) and testing area (reading, writing, spelling, grammar and punctuation, and numeracy). It also compares national and state/territory achievement in each year and domain from 2008 to 2011 and 2012.
The report also provides a breakdown of results based on a number of reported characteristics such as gender, language background other than English, geolocation and indigenous status.
NAPLAN results for 2008-2012 are also available in a searchable format.
