Language Conventions and NAPLAN Tests (3)


Correction for yesterday's language question.  The correct punctuation.

"It's not fair! The dog has eaten its dinner and now has also eaten the cat's dinner."

  • It's is short for It is  and an apostrophe is required to indicate this.
  • cat's requires an apostrophe to indicate possession
  • There is no apostrophe in its dinner
